This group covers the bars, diners, family restaurants, fast-food spots and other kitchens that serve pizza alongside a broader menu. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Santa Barbara is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Quickly became my favorite in Santa Barbara! Food is incredible and staff is so friendly. You can taste the care of the talented chef Efe and the freshness and quality of the seasonal ingredients. I crave their Mediterranean foodsβ¦best hummus, salmon, wagyu meatballs, sea bass, chicken is sooo good, gluten free chocolate cake!!! And especially right now favorite is their smoked labneh w fresh snap peas and asparagus. Iβve never had smoked labneh before and cannot get enough. Also I would like all of their sauces packaged (Harissa! Zhoug! Tzatziki! Dukkah spices!! Yummm) so they can be in my fridge always. Drooling and sooo delighted w it all. Thanks team Aegean SB!!!

Delicious and authentic. My sweetheart had the Levec (seabass) and I had the Saç Kavurma, both of which were perfect. The hummus was a treat and the Aegean fries with garlic sauce were delicious. I had a Turkish coffee. It was a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend!

Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a chef go from weekly pop-ups and special events, to opening a restaurant. Congratulations Chef Efe Onoglu! I already knew the food would be good here after trying Chef Efeβs cooking at a pop-up event. After my recent visit here Iβm already anticipating my next visit! We started with crispy falafel. They were perfect little balls bursting with flavor. Presentation on point. We also enjoyed the farmers market tzatziki. Totally different from the typical Tzatziki Iβm used to but honestly way better! Made with fresh veggies, garlic yogurt and fresh herbs. Make sure you order the bread basket to go along with this. The Aegean fries are also a must! They are more than just fries, they were next level. Seasoned with Greek oregano and lemon zest, finished with feta and dipped in creamy Greek yogurt. Zesty, lemony and so addictive! For the mains, my son ordered the Chermoula salmon which was perfectly cooked. It was bright, herby, and layered with preserved lemon over creamy garlic couscous. I ordered the lamb kofte which is made with lamb belly and American Wagyu. The mini kebabs are juicy tender bites, balanced by sumac onions, blistered shishit

Excellent, authentic Mediterranean food. Service was ok but could be they were understaffed. Place was really nice. We could sit outside with the heater on. Cool weather and string lights on! Other patrons werenβt too loud so we could talk without yelling at each other. We ordered hummus, Brussel sprouts, Greek salad, brisket, sea bass, and salmon, all were delicious. Maybe the brisket was our least fave but still pretty good. Hope they could keep up the quality.

Amazing flavors, service, and atmosphere. The best hummus I've ever had. The portion was generous, enough for 4 people. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. Meat was tender and so flavorful. Excited to come back again very soon. This is what SB needed!
